The First Batch of LNG Tanker in Shanxi Yun Jin LNG Project Successfully shipped out

On August 19, 2018, four transport tankers carrying the first batch of LNG from Shanxi Yunjin LNG project were successfully loaded and transported, and the loading process lasted more than two hours. The smooth shipment of the first batch of LNG from Shanxi Yunjin Project marks the the first time that Yunjin project has created economic benefits for the Owner since its liquefaction.

The tankers for the outward transport of LNG are divided into two batches. Two were loaded on the afternoon of August 18, two on the afternoon of August 19, and four were loaded on the afternoon of August 19. After completed loading on the afternoon of August 19, 4 tankers drove out of the factory heading to the destination of Hebei Province.

Shanxi Yunjin Natural Gas Co., Ltd. 23000Nm³/h COG to LNG Project, located in the plant area of Longhui Coal Gasification Co., Ltd., Yangqu County, Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province. The project is invested by Shanxi Yunjin Natural Gas Co., Ltd., and EPC contracted by Xindi Energy Project. In this project, the coke oven gas, by-product of Longhui coal gasification and coking, is used as raw material to produce LNG, providing cleaner and more efficient fuel.

The successful commissioning of the Yunjin project has laid a solid foundation for the long-term cooperation between the company and Yunjin Natural Gas Company. At the same time, the project began to become an important gas source for emergency guarantee and natural gas supply in Yangqu County and even Shanxi Province in winter. The project construction is in line with the idea of Shanxi's transitional comprehensive reform experiment, and is an important measure to achieve “gasification of Shanxi”. The project strives to realize the development of high-carbon energy and low-carbon to meet the needs of the ecological environment.
